National Testing Agency will be releasing the JEE Main 2019 exact date and shift on October 5, 2018, over the official website of JEE Main 2019 i.e jeemain.nic.in. So far, it had announced that it will be conducting JEE Main 2019 on Saturdays and Sundays, falling between January 6 to January 20, 2019. Thus, it can be assumed that the JEE Main 2019 exam dates will be – January 06, 12, 13, 19 and 20, 2019. However, NTA will be confirming the dates and shifts tomorrow.

Also, we know that only Paper 1 ( for B.E/B.Tech aspirants) will be held in two shifts, a day i.e from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM, whereas B.Arch/B. Plan applicants need to appear for this national level exam in only one shift. However, the exact date and shift combination is yet not clear. These major doubts related to JEE Main 2019 Exam Date and Shift is expected to be cleared tomorrow.
There was no option given to the candidates for slot booking. Nevertheless, they were given the option of choosing 4 JEE Main 2019 exam centres (as per their preference), from the list available while filling their application forms online. But in the case of exam date and shift, no such provision was even made available to the candidates. The final allotment of center, date, and shift will be done with the help of a computer software, under the supervision of NTA. The exact shift and date will be made available on October 5, 2018, whereas the exact exam centers allotted is said to be out by October 21, 2018, over NTA’s website.
However, the last date to submit your JEE Main 1 2019 application forms has already lapsed ( w.e.f October 1, 2018). Soon, NTA will be opening an application form correction window from October 8 to October 14 to give all its candidates, one last chance to rectify the errors committed while filling up their forms.
After closing the correction window, NTA will be releasing JEE Main 2019 admit cards over their official portal on December 17, 2018. The final allotment of JEE Main 2019 exam center, date, shift, and venue, along with some of the corrections made will be printed on it. All candidates must ensure details mentioned on their application form must match to the ones mentioned on admit cards. If not, a candidate will be advised to contact the admit card issuing authority at the earliest possible.
