NTA JEE Main 2019 Exam Date for January and April Announced; Registration to Begin from 01 Sep

NTA JEE Main 2019 Exam Dates

The wait is finally over. All the confusion regarding NTA JEE Main 2019 examination has been resolved. It was already known that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2019. However, now the session and dates for the examination have been announced. Engineering aspirants will be appearing for JEE Main January 2019 and JEE Main April 2019.

JEE Main 2019 Jan and April Dates Are:-

NTA will conduct JEE Main January 2019 in a window of multiple days. The examination will begin on January 01 and will end on January 20, 2019. The registration for the exam will start from September 01, 2018. The last date to apply for the examination is September 30, 2018. The Agency will announce the result by the 1st week of February 2019.

JEE Main April 2019 will also be held in the same fashion. The proposed dates for the exam are from April 07 to 21, 2019. Candidates will be able to register for the JEE Main April Exam 2019 in the 2nd week of February 2019 and the result of the exam will be declared by the 1st week of May 2019.

However, it should be noted that the examination will only be held in 8 sittings between this duration. The candidates will have the full freedom to choose the sitting in which they aim to appear for the examination.

The candidates will have to state their choices for the exam date in the application form. The registration, as always, will be done online. The candidates will have to provide their educational, personal, and other details in the form. It is expected that the complete information brochure of the exam will be available in the month of August 2018.

NTA Official Website?

The NTA Official Website is also active now. It is http://www.nta.ac.in. It has all the details about the examination which will be conducted by the Agency in 2019. In all, NTA will be conducting NEET, JEE Main, UGC NET, GPAT, and CMAT from next year.

FoUr Things in JEE Main 2019 will not change?

As per the reports, the pattern of the examination will be the same as before. The candidates will get 90 MCQs on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The candidates will get 3 hours to qualify the examination. Each question will be of 4, hence, in all the exam will be of 4 marks. For marking incorrect answers, the negative marking of 1 mark will be done.

Other than this, the syllabus of JEE Main will also be the same and so will be Language and Fee of the examination. Until now, JEE was held in English and Hindi language and the amount of application fee was as follows:

JEE Main 2019 Fee

JEE Main is a national level examination to fill B.Tech / B.E / B.Arch / B. Plan seats in the colleges of India. The examination was held by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) until now. However, now NTA will conduct the exam. The eligibility criteria and other details regarding the exam are expected to remain the same.
