National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the entire schedule for JEE Main 2019 Exam. This the final schedule that contains dates of all the events of JEE Main 2019. Earlier in July 2018, Prakash Javadekar, in a press conference had announced the tentative schedule. However, now NTA has declared the entire schedule of JEE Main 2019 online exam that will be held in the month of January and then again in April 2019.
The JEE Main 1 (January) exam will be held on Jan 6-20, 2019. For this the registrations will start on September 01, 2018 and will go on until September 30, 2018. Admit card for JEE Main 1 exam will be available on December 17, 2018. After the examination, the results will be announced on January 31, 2018.
The JEE Main 2 (April) Exam will be held on April 6-20, 2019. The registration will be done in the window of Feb 8 to Mar 7, 2019. The admit card for this exam will be available on March 18, 2019. The result of the April exam will be announced on April 30, 2019.
Now, there are slight changes we can notice in the final schedule. The tentative schedule said that the JEE Main 2 (April) examination will be held from April 7-21, 2019. However as per the new schedule the dates have been changed. Apart from that, the dates of admit card and registration of the April examination which were unannounced earlier, is now made available.
Also NTA’s director general Vineet Joshi has announced that the countrywide network of test practice centres (TPCs) for students everywhere will start from September 01, 2018. On every Saturday and Sunday 2,697 schools/ engineering colleges will host these practice tests and candidates will be able to take advantage of the same free of charge. A mobile application is being developed which will enable the candidates to select their nearest practice test centres.
Now, from 2019 onwards, JEE Main will be conducted twice in online mode and in multiple seatings. Candidates will be able to choose their desired date and time t appear in the exam.
