National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CU CET) 2021 application form on the official website cucet.nta.nic.in. The last date to submit the application form is September 01. Whereas, the fee can be paid up to September 02, 2021. For admission to the Undergraduate Integrated (UI) and Postgraduation (PG) courses into 12 participating central universities, the CU-CET 2021 will be conducted on September 15, 16, 23, and 24, 2021.
Eligible and interested candidates seeking admissions into participating Central Universities (CUs) into the desired programme can register and fill the application form online at cucet.nta.nic.in. Before applying for CU-CET 2021, candidates are asked to go through the required eligibility criteria defined by the CUs for the desired courses. A detailed information bulletin has also been released at cucet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. It carries information regarding courses, eligibility criteria, entrance test structure, etc.
Step 1: To register candidates need to visit the website of CU-CET 2021, cucet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, candidates have to click on “Registration for CU-CET 2021 Registration”
Step 3: Therein, candidates need to enter their Email ID and Mobile Number to generate the application number.
Step 4: Then they have to fill in the required academic details in the application form.
Step 5: Then, upload scanned images of a recent photograph (in jpg/ jpeg file, size 10Kb to 200Kb), candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb).
Step-6: In the next step, the candidates have to make the payment of the prescribed fee through net banking/ debit card/ credit card/ UPI or wallet. Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
Candidates belonging from OBC-NCL, EWS and General category have to pay the application fee of Rs. 800, Transgender, ST and SC candidates have to pay Rs. 350 as an application fee, whereas, PWD candidates are exempted from paying the fee. Once the application process is closed, NTA will issue the admit cards on the official website cucet.nta.nic.in. The date of the CU CET 2021 admit card, however, will be announced later. The common entrance test is scheduled to be conducted in two shifts, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm (IST). From 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm (IST).

According to the proposed exam pattern, the CU-CET 2021 will take place in LAN-based CBT mode. The duration of the entrance test will be 2:00 hours. All the questions will be objective-type MCQs and the medium of the common entrance test will be only English for all questions except for languages.
Each correct response would carry 1 mark and a negative marking of 0.25 marks would be applicable for each wrong answer. For UI the question paper will be divided into two papers- UI-QP1 & UI-QP2. The first paper will carry 50 questions whereas, paper 2 will have 100 questions.
After the announcement of the CU CET 2021 result, the respective CUs will announce the schedule for counselling and admission. A merit list based on the weightage on the basis of CU CET 2021 score, will be published. The nodal agency has also facilitated a help desk.
