North Eastern Railways has recently published an official notification to recruit eligible candidates for the post of PGT and TGT Part-time Teachers. As per the notification, NER has announced 20 vacancies for the recruitment. Eligible candidates can register themselves only from September 05, 2020, onwards by visiting ner.indianrailways.gov.in. The last date for online registrations is September 09, 2020. Only those eligible candidates who have registered themselves can appear for the walk-in-interview which is scheduled from September 21, 2020, and September 22, 2020.
The recruitment of PGT Part-time Teacher is announced for English, Physics, Maths, Biology, Hindi, Economics, Home Science, Sociology, Commerce and Chemistry. The TGT teacher posts are announced for English, Hindi, Maths, Science and Social Science subjects. Candidates who are recruited under the post of PGT part-time teacher receives a monthly salary of Rs. 27,500/- and TGT part-time teacher gets Rs. 26250/- monthly salary.
To apply for the said posts, candidates are advised to read the prescribed eligibility criteria once. Those who wish to apply for PGT Part-time teacher must have post-graduation degree in relevant subjects from regional college or Masters degree in a particular subject with minimum 50% marks obtained in it. Moreover, they must possess a B.Ed degree with good command over Hindi and English language to teach. To apply for TGT part-time teacher candidates must possess graduation degree and 02 years Diploma in Primary Education. Candidates who have a graduation degree in concerned subject with a minimum of 50%maks and 01 year B. Ed degree is eligible to apply for TGT part-time teacher post. They must also have good knowledge of Hindi and English languages to teach.
Online registrations and application forms procedure is conducted on the official website of NER, ner.indianrailways.gov.in. Aspirants shall visit the official website and click on the contact us/ recruitment section. Hereafter, they have to tap on the ‘other recruitment’ tab. They will find the online registration link at the top with the title – ‘Link for Online Application/Registration for Teachers on Contract Basis (2020-21)’. After clicking on the click here link, candidates are directed towards the registration portal where they have entered heir correct information and register themselves for interview.
The list of the candidates who are invited for the walk-in-interview will be out on September 18, 2020. Aspirants who have their names or roll number in the select list have to appear for the interview accordingly with all the relevant documents such as all the educational qualification certificates, passport size photograph and others. The date, time and place for the interview will be conveyed to selected candidates accordingly.
