NITI Aayog, Government of India has released an official notification for the recruitment of Chief Economist cum Senior Lead, Senior Lead (Senior Adviser) /Lead (Adviser). The conducting body has announced 04 vacancies for Senior Lead (Senior Adviser) /Lead (Adviser) and 01 for Chief Economist cum Senior Lead. Candidates who wish to know more about the recruitment can download the notification No.A-12023/3/2018-Admn.II for Senior Lead (Senior Adviser) /Lead (Adviser) and No.A.12026/3/2020-Admn.II for Chief Economist cum Senior Lead from niti.gov.in. Submit the application form for Chief Economist cum Senior Lead before August 10, 2020. Those who are eligible for Senior Lead (Senior Adviser) /Lead (Adviser) can submit their forms before August 25, 2020.
Candidates who are shortlisted under Chief Economist are recruited through deputation basis. Similarly, The post of Senior Lead and Lead (Advisor) is on deputation and contractual basis. Those who are shortlisted for Chief Economist receives Rs. 3,30,000/-, Senior Lead (Senior Adviser) gets Rs. 330000/- and Lead (Adviser) gets Rs. 265000/-.
To apply for Chief Economist, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Economics and Doctorate in Economics. Candidates who possess a master’s degree in any discipline or MBBS degree in Engineering/Technology can apply for Senior Lead (Senior Adviser) and Lead (Adviser). Along with the educational qualification, candidates must have relevant work experience in concerned fields.
Candidates age should be between the age range of 44 years to 55 years for Chief Economist. The lower age limit for Senior Lead is 40 years and for Lead Advisor is 35 years. The upper age limit for Senior Lead is 52 years and for Lead Advisor is 50 years. Those who are applying for Senior Lead (Senior Adviser) and Lead (Adviser), Chief Economist cum Senior Lead on contractual basis have to apply online. Candidates have to visit the http://niti.gov.in/career/vacancy-circular get the online application form. The application procedure can be submitted by following two major steps – registration and application form submission. Use the registered email address and password to log in and fill up the NITI Aayog application form. Aspirants also have to upload the self-attested supporting documents with the application form. The documents that candidates have to upload are as follows, degree certificates, Salary Slip or Income Tax Return (ITR), Detailed Resume, Photograph, Signature.
Aspirants who are applying through deputation basis have to download the application form from nitigov.in. They have to submit the form to The Under Secretary (Admn.-lA), NITI Aayog, Room No.416, NITI Bhavan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi-110001 before the last date.
