The Central University of Himachal Pradesh is inviting eligible candidates for the post of Research Associate and Field Investigator. The conducting body has announced 02 vacancies for Research Associate and Field Investigator. The recruitment is done for the project entitled “Handicraft Tourism a Source of Community Development” in the Department of Tourism and Travel Management. The detailed notification can be downloaded from the official website, cuhimachal.ac.in. Eligible candidates can submit their online application form before the last date which is August 05, 2020.
The recruitment is on purely on contract/temporary basis. Candidates are shortlisted for 12 months as Research Associate and for 06 months as Field Investigator under the department of Tourism and Travel Management. Those who are appointed as Research Associate receives Rs. 25,000/- per month and Field Investigator gets Rs. 15,000/- per month.
To apply for Research Associate post, candidates must have post-graduation qualification in any Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks. Also, they must have NET/SLET./M. Phil/PhD degree. Experience in Data Analysis and research project is desirable. Candidates who have post-graduation degree in any Social Science subject with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible for the post of Field Investigator. They must have good communication skills and adequate data collection, data coding and data processing. The upper age limit for Research Associate is 40 years and for Field Investigators, the maximum age limit is 35 years.

Incomplete applications submitted by aspirants are rejected.
The selection of candidates for Research Associate & Field Investigator is based on the merit list. Eligible candidates are shortlisted for the interview based on their educational qualification. They have to appear for the interview before the constituted Selection Committee. The schedule for the interview including the date, time and mode of the interview will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates through registered phone or email.
