National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has activated the link to check the results of class 10, 12 October-November 2019 exams today, on December 10, 2019. NIOS result 2019 can be checked at results.nios.ac.in. Even though the link to check result is available, candidates say, that upon login they can only see a no result found message. As per reports, result will be available by afternoon or evening today.
The first update regarding the much awaited results was seen at 12:30 pm on the results portal in the form of a new section for 2019 results. There is a single page for all NIOS results, results.nios.ac.in and results of different exams are segregated by colorful boxes on the page, for example there are separate sections for public exam, on demand exam, previous exams, result analysis.
For the October-November 2019 exams, today, NIOS added a new section on the results page with the heading “public examination result” under which it mentioned the section to be for secondary and senior secondary Oct-Nov 2019 exams.
When the section was added, a coming soon message was posted on it just below the year.
However below the coming soon message are three links – check result, pay exam fee April-May 2020. All three links are active.
The coming soon message is making it so appear that result has not yet been announced. Nevertheless the link to check result is opening the page results.nios.ac.in/home/public-exam. Here, candidates who had appeared in the NIOS October-November 2019 exams for class 10th and 12th and enter their enrollment number and check whether their results are being displayed or not.
A few students who did login have shared that they are getting a “bad request (#400)” error upon logging in. The message displayed says “Sorry, no result found with roll number ___. The above error occurred while the web server was processing your request. Please contact us if you think this is a server error.”
The toll free helpline number of National Institute of Open Schooling is 18001809393. However right now, requests to know result date may be a tad futile, considering that 1-2 lakh candidates are attempting to do the same thing.
NIOS October Result 2019 declaration date has been the topic of much debate in the recent past. While some students who contacted NIOS by email were told that result will be declared by December 15, 2019, others, on the phone, were said that result will be out on or after December 9, 2019.
Whereas until yesterday most candidates found it difficult to believe that results will be available soon, today’s update on the website makes the news more believable.
The link to check result is expected to remain the same. Hence candidates can try to login to it at regular intervals. As soon as the result is out, they can check it there only.
