The National Institute of Open Schooling has released the NIOS Class 10 October Result 2018. NIOS Result 2018 has been announced today i.e. on December 15, 2018. The result is available for the regular and the candidates who have given on-demand exams. Candidates can check it from the official website i.e. nios.ac.in. The exams for Class 10 for the October session were held from October 8 to November 05, 2018.
Candidates can visit the official website of NIOS to check the result. On the homepage, the students can see the tab of “Results”. Click on the tab and a new page will appear. On that page, the students can click on the link of “NIOS 10th October Result 2018“. After hitting the link, a new page will be opened. Enter the roll number there and submit it. The roll number must be the same as available on the admit card or hall ticket. Then the result of the students will appear. So, check the result and then take the printout of it for the future reference.
The NIOS exams were conducted for the Indian students from October 8 to November 05, 2018. While for the Overseas candidates, the board exams were held between October 09 and November 06, 2018.
For the April session, the NIOS Result for Class 10 was announced on June 04, 2018. It was also released for the Indian and Overseas students both. For the April session, the board exams were conducted from April 05 to April 26, 2018.
Along with class 10 result, the NIOS board has also declared class 12 result. Both results are available on the same date. To check both results, the board has provided the separate links. Candidates can click on the relevant link according to their classes.
The candidates who have qualified the exams will get the Provisional Certificate or the Mark Sheet or the Migration-cum-Transfer Certificate from the Accredited Institute of NIOS.
In 2017, the total number of candidates who had appeared for the NIOS board exams was 3,50,000. The overall pass percentage for them was 59.21% in the previous year. In terms of the performances genderwise, the girls had obtained better scores. Overall, the girls got 60.91% pass percentage while for the boys, the pass percentage was 58.44%. A slight difference was there between the girls and boys in which the girls won the race.
The National Institute of Open Schooling is well known as NIOS. NIOS was established in the year 1989. It came into existence through the Ministry of Human Resources Development. The board works as a panel of education. Just like the CBSE and the CISCE, it offers education to various regions to provide a flexible education.
