National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has declared the result for the 4th semester DElEd exam on its official website, dled.nios.ac.in. The result of this semester was tentatively said to be out by the second week of May 2019, however, it has been announced on May 22, 2019, at around 04:15 PM.
Candidates who appeared for Learning in Art, Health, Physical and Work Education at the Elementary level, Learning Social Science at Upper Primary Level and Learning Science at Upper Primary Level subjects on March 15 & 16, 2019 can check their results. Candidates will not be sent the hard copy of the scorecard via any registered post.
To check the results for subject codes 508, 509 and 510, a candidate needs to visit the official website, look for “NIOS DElEd Result for 4th Semester” link and click that. Next, a candidate needs to enter their Enrolment Number and Date of Birth. Click on the “Submit” button and then in the next screen your result is made available. Make sure, after viewing you save a copy of it. All those candidates who qualifies for the exam are asked to pursue their next semester.
The NIOS DElEd Result for 4th semester consists of some details like Enrollment Number, Reference Number, Name of the Teacher, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Examination Month Year, Photograph of the candidate, marks obtained by the candidate in the exam. In case of a candidate is not satisfied with the marks secured by them, he/she can apply for rechecking of their paper. NIOS re-evaluates the whole paper, once again, checks whether or not any totaling mistakes have been committed or not.
The process of Re-checking and Re-evaluation within 45 days of the receipt of your application. Candidates can apply for any of these facility within 30 days of the result declaration date. Unfortunately, if a candidate is not able to secure the passing marks, he/she needs to reappear in 3 subsequent Term- End Examination, in order to complete the course.
On October 03, 2017, NIOS started offering this Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course to inexperienced teachers working at various primary/ upper primary schools of different Indian States. The academic department of NIOS took this initiative of MHRD, Government of India, to develop this program.
The course intends to inculcate skills, competencies, attitudes and understanding to make teaching and learning more effective. NIOS as a conducting body was established to provide education and training to young aspirants of the teaching field at an affordable cost.
