Today, May 04, 2022, is the last date to apply for the NIMCET 2022 examination, organised by the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur. Candidates have time up to 5:00 pm to fill and submit the online form. The NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2022 is all set to be conducted on Monday, June 20, 2022, at selected centres across the country. This entrance exam is being held for admitting eligible candidates for the MCA course.
NIT Jamshedpur began the NIMCET 2022 registration process on April 04, 2022, 10:00 am onwards. Candidates were given 30 days to complete the registration formalities. All those who are yet to submit the form, are advised to verify the details mentioned as a separate correction facility will not be provided.
NIMCET 2022 Admit Card & Exam Date
As per official schedule, the NIMCET 2022 exam is all set to be conducted on June 20, 2022. Admit cards for the exam will be issued from June 06, 2022, onwards. Candidates have time up to June 19, 2022, to download or print a copy of the admit card. No aspirant will be sent the admit card personally or by post.
NIMCET 2022 admit card shall be issued through the online mode, on the official website nimcet.in. A link to download the document will be activated on the schedule date. Candidates need to access this link, enter the login credentials such as Registration Number, Roll Number and Date of Birth. Submit the credentials to access the admit card.
NIMCET 2022 Paper Pattern & Marking Scheme
As per the official information brochure, the NIMCET 2022 exam will be held for a duration of 2 hours (or 120 minutes). The paper comprises of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each comprises of 4 options. Although the test will be held through computer-based format, candidates can do their rough work in the test booklet itself. No separate sheet will be provided for rough work.
The NIMCET 2022 paper will be divided into four sections as mentioned below –
# Mathematics: 50 Questions
# Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning: 40 questions
# Computer Awareness: 10 questions
# General English: 20 questions
Each correct answer will be allotted 4 marks while 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong/incorrect answer. 0 marks shall be allotted to unattempted questions.
By qualifying the NIMCET 2022 exam, candidates can seek admission for MCA programme at NITs located across Agartala, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, and Warangal.
