National Institute for Implementation Research on Non-Communicable Diseases (NIIRNCD) has released a new recruitment notification for 12 temporary vacancies available under various projects. Eligible and intending candidates are invited to send their applications to recruit.niirncd@gmail.com on or before January 11, 2021. Applications will be accepted till 05.30 PM on the last date. The 12 vacancies are available under various projects of the Institute on a temporary basis. There are 03 vacancies for the post of Field Worker and 03 for Project Assistant in a particular project. In another project, there is a single vacancy available for each of the posts of Research Assistant (Nutrition) and Technician-C. In addition, 03 vacancies are also available for the post of Field Worker in the project. In another project, there is a single vacancy available for the post of Upper Division Clerk.

Selected candidates are to be appointed for a temporary period during which, they are to be paid monthly consolidated salary depending on posts. For the post of Field Worker, the monthly salary is Rs 18000 while for Project Assistant and Research Assistant posts, the monthly salary is Rs 31000. Candidates appointed to Technician-C post is entitled to a monthly fixed salary of Rs 18000 while for UDC post, the salary is Rs 17000.
Interested candidates must check the detailed eligibility criteria from the official advertisement and fulfil them before applying. For example, the maximum age limit for all posts is 30 years except UDC. The upper age for UDC post is 28 years. However, relaxations on the upper age can be availed by reserved categories as per government norms in vogue.
Applicants are also required to possess certain minimum educational qualifications before applying. For example, 12th pass candidates who have a 2 years Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) can apply for Field Worker post. For the post of Project Assistant, a Graduate degree in Biological Sciences is necessary for the post of Project Assistant. Candidates holding a Graduate degree in Science/Biology/Home Science/Nutrition are eligible for Research Assistant post if they have 3 or more years of experience in Research. Candidates are advised to check the complete eligibility criteria specified against every post.
Selection of the eligible applicants is to be done through personal interview. However, if more than 30 eligible candidates are present, the Institute may conduct a written test consisting objective type questions for selection of candidates.
