The National Institute of Design has lately announced that the NID DAT Prelims 2021 Result is delayed. Due to some reasons, the Institute has not yet announced the NID DAT B.Des and M. Des Entrance Exam results. Fresh dates will be announced after May 20, 2021 on the website. Candidates should keep an eye on admissions.nid.edu to check the NID DAT Prelims Result 2021 schedule.
The prelims exam for NID DAT 2021 took place 02 months ago on March 14, 2021, for B.Des and M.Des courses. Students who appeared for these examinations were expecting the result at the end of April or the beginning of May 2021. However, there was no update on the result for over a month. Now, the Institute has updated that “due to the unprecedented Circumstances the announcement of DAT Prelims results is delayed”. A screenshot of the announcement is also shared below.
Students can check their results online once declared. They have to browse the official website, admissions.nid.edu to check the NID DAT Prelims result. As the result is declared via login, candidates require a registered email address and date of birth. On successful login, a category-wise merit list containing the scores of the candidates displays on the screen. Aspirants can check their result with the help of admit card number and application number.
Moreover, the Institute allow candidates to request the re-checking of prelims result/answer scripts. As of now, NID has not yet discussed any dates for the rechecking process. It is expected that after the preliminary result date is announced, NID will also share a further schedule.
Candidates qualifying for the prelims exam are eligible to appear for NID DAT Mains Exam 2021. Shortlisted aspirants will receive a call letter for the same online. Thereafter, the mains exam result is released. The final merit list will be prepared based on both NID Prelims and NID Mains examination. The Institute issues a common category-wise merit list of the shortlisted candidates. Based on prelims and mains exam aspirants are called for the counselling session.
NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) is a national level entrance examination for the Bachelor and Masters course in Design. The Bachelor of Design (B.Des) is offered at NID Institute located in Ahmedabad, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Assam. The Master of Design Course is offered at the National Institute of Design situated at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru (Extension Campus), Gandhinagar (Extension Campus).
