National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG) has published an official notification for the recruitment of Technical Specialist, Data Analyst, Computational Laboratory Manager and Project Coordinator (Administration). The recruitment for the said posts is under the Systems Medicine Cluster (SyMeC) Project. NIBMG has announced a total of 08 vacancies for these posts. The recruitment is for a short tenure of only 06 months. Candidates can get the notification with Advertisement No: NIBMG/ADMIN/ESTB/2020-21/ 096 from nibmg.ac.in. Applications against the advertised posts can be submitted on or before August 11, 2020, by 05:00 PM.
NIBMG has announced 04 vacancies for Technical Specialist, 01 for Computational Laboratory Manager, 02 for Data Analyst and 01 for Project Coordinator (Administration). Applicants who are appointed as Technical Specialist, Data Analyst and Project Coordinator (Administration) receives Rs. 40,000/- as their per month salary. Newly appointed Computational Laboratory Manager gets Rs. 80,000/- as per month salary.
To apply for Technical Specialist, candidates must have completed M. Sc in Genetics/Life Sciences/Biochemistry or related discipline. Those who have B.Sc with 03 years experience in Laboratory Experience are also eligible. Candidate must have a PhD degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Computational Biology or related discipline to apply for Computational Laboratory Manager. Moreover, they must have a minimum of 03 years of work experience in large statistical/ bigdata/ genomics projects/consultancy. Those who have completed B. Tech/M. Tech, MSc in Computer Science/ Computer Applications can apply for Data analyst. Candidates must have good command in computer languages such as C/C++, Java or Python. To apply for Project Coordinator (Administration) candidates must have M. Sc. or equivalent in Life Sciences. Moreover, aspirants must have relevant work experience in concerned fields to apply for any of the announced posts.

First, candidates are advised to create an account using the ‘Create New Account’ link. The username and password that are utilized for login should be kept safe until the recruitment is over. After the final submission, candidates are advised to take a clear print out of the applications form as it is required at the time of interview.
Based on the filled in applications form, candidates are shortlisted for the interview. Those who are able to qualify the interview round are appointed for the announced posts on contractual basis for 06 months. Their service period may get extended based on the performance and requirements of the SyMeC project.
