The Central University of Odisha has published an official recruitment notification to fill up vacancies in various non-teaching posts on direct recruitment/deputation basis. Advertisement No. 02/2020 published at the official University website i.e. cuo.ac.in indicates that there are 40 available vacancies. Eligible candidates who are well versed with the functions of the University and having the basic knowledge of Computer Applications are preferred for recruitment. Eligible and willing candidates are invited to forward their applications by post on or before August 31, 2020.
As per the recruitment notice, 01 vacancy for the post of Internal Audit Officer is to be filled up on deputation basis. 01 vacancy each for the posts of Finance Officer, Controller of Examinations, Librarian, and Security Officer is to be filled up on direct recruitment/deputation basis. Various vacancies are also advertised which are to be filled up on direct recruitment basis. These include 01 vacancies for the post of Assistant Librarian, 02 vacancies for the post of Assistant Registrar, 02 vacancies for the post of Medical Officer, 01 vacancies for the post of System Analyst, 01 vacancies for the post of Information Scientist, 03 vacancies for the post of Private Secretary, 02 vacancies for the post of Section Officer, 01 vacancies for the post of Nurse and 03 vacancies for the post of Personal Assistant. In addition, 03 vacancies are also available for the post of Assistant, 01 vacancies each for the posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical0, Junior Engineer (Civil), and Hindi Translator. 09 vacancies are available for the post of Lower Division Clerk, 01 for the post of Hindi Typist, and 03 for the post of Multi Tasking Staff. Selected candidates are to be appointed across multiple pay levels (Level 1 to 6) and Pay Bands (PB 1 to 3) as per the post.
In order to apply, candidates must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions specified for each post. The detailed post wise requirement of minimum educational qualifications and eligibility as per age are indicated in the detailed notification against each of the advertised posts. Candidates applying for direct recruitment must ensure that they comply with these conditions before applying. Relevant experience required to apply for each post must also be possessed by the applicants. Those who are applying for recruitment on a deputation basis must also be holding analogous posts in other government agencies and within the maximum specified age. A Masters/Bachelors degree is required in relevant discipline in order to apply for the posts except for the post of LDC & Hindi typist for which, Class 12th pass candidates are also eligible to apply. In addition, Class 10th pass candidates can also apply for the post of MTS.
Selection of candidates is to be done on the basis of written test/skill test/trade test as applicable. However, no allowance is to be paid for attending the selection tests. An application fee must be paid by General and OBC candidates in order to apply for posts in Group A, B & C. The application fee for Group A posts is Rs 1000, Group B posts is Rs 750 and Group C posts is Rs 500. However, SC/ST, PWD, and Female candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee. The application form must be sent to The Registrar, Central University of Odisha, PO-NAD, Sunabeda, Koraput 763004, Odisha. Applications must be filled up completely and signed and candidates must ensure that they reach the authorities by speed/registered post on or before the last date. All applications must also contain a copy of the Fee Payment Receipt along with enclosure of copies of certificates & supporting documents and superscribed with the name of the post and advertisement number.
