National Board of Examinations(NBE) has announced NEET SS 2019 examination date officially through a notice. NEET Super Specialty 2019 is to be conducted on June 28, 2019 on computer based platform that is online mode. It is a national level examination conducted for admission in DM / MCh courses as the merit list prepared after  NEET SS exam is used to allot seats to DNB super-specialty & FNB Fellowship courses. Also, NBE will be releasing the Information brochure on its website for NEET SS 2019 for all the details in the month of April or May 2019.

The Online Application form for NEET SS 2019 will be made available for candidates willing to take the test from the second week of May 2019. Candidates will have to register themselves for the examination only after which they can fill the application form. An amount of Rs. 3750/- has to be paid by every candidate through credit card/ debit card or net banking in order to complete the NEET SS 2019 application process.

As per the eligibility criteria required by NBE all such candidates who are in possession of recognized postgraduate medical degree(MD/MS/DNB)/ Provisional Pass Certificate or an equivalent recognized qualification or likely to be in possession by the 15 July 2019 can apply for NEET-SS 2019.

NBE has also made it very clear in the notice released on February 01, 2019 that “A candidate can choose a maximum of upto two super-specialty courses for which his/her broad specialty qualification is eligible at the time of online submission of NEET  SS 2019 Application Form”.

NEET Super Specialty is a national level examination conducted by NBE. The question paper will be divided into two parts that is part A and part B with 100 questions in all. Part A of the paper will have 40 MCQ (multiple choice questions) from the feeder broad specialty course, while Part B shall have a total of 60 MCQ from super specialty course selected by the candidate. For every correct answer marked by a candidate 4 marks will be rewarded and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer marked, there will be no negative mark for question left unanswered.

National Examination Board(NBE) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India. It was established for systematizing postgraduate medical education and examination in India. NBE awards the postgraduate degree know as Diplomate of National Board(DNB) to candidates who take the examination under NBE such as NEET SS, NEET PG, NEET MDS, Fellowship Entrance and Exit examinations, FMGE, AIPGMME and a few more.
