NEET Hall Ticket 2022 Release Date

The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 is all set to be conducted on July 17, 2022, through the OMR-based pen-and-paper format. Admit cards are likely to be issued to registered candidates next week, preferably, between June 08 to 14, 2022. Each registered aspirant shall be able to download his/her admit card from the official website neet.nta.nic.in. However, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to provide any specific date for admit card release.

Things however, are not going smooth in the NEET 2022 world as students across the country are demanding for its postponement. In fact, they have expressed their views online, specifically on Twitter, the micro-blogging social media portal. With every passing day, the chances of postponement reduce further.

NEET 2022 Admit Card to release soon

NTA is scheduled to release two documents – NEET 2022 exam city intimation and NEET 2022 admit card. Both documents shall be issued separately, on the official website neet.nta.nic.in.

As per several reports, the NEET 2022 exam city intimation will be released this week, preferably by June 07, 2022. Thereafter, the agency will release admit cards for all registered candidates, in the second week of June 2022.

#NTADifferNEETUG uproar continues on Twitter

Lately, the hashtag #NTADifferNEETUG has been incessantly trending on Twitter with students pouring-in their reasons for postponement. An account by the name NEET(UG)/JEE Students Association (@NUSA_NEETUG) posted the following tweet on June 02, 2022 –

Last year, the NEET-UG exam was on 12 September & this year on July 17th! The dropper is not even getting exactly 10 months!

Why students will have to suffer if the officials took more time than usual to declare the result, conduct the counseling process ?

#NTAdeferNEETUG

While inadequate preparation time dominates the reasons for postponement, students are highlighting the apparent “sandwiching of entrance exams”, specifically in the month of July 2022. They are referring to CUET 2022, NEET 2022 and JEE Main 2022 (session 2) scheduled next month with barely any gap in-between.

6 compelling reasons provided by students

Recently, a letter written by the parent of a NEET 2022 aspirant mentioned the following reasons for postponement –

#1 Inadequate time for NEET UG preparation

#2 Apparent clash of dates with CUET 2022 (although exam date has not been finalised)

#3 Hectic schedule for those giving both NEET 2022 and JEE Main 2022

#4 Mop-up counselling round for NEET UG 2021 only recently, in March 2022

#5 Delay in NEET UG 2021 counselling

#6 Based on academic plan chalked-out by NMC for the 2021-batch, a new session is difficult to start before January 2023. So postponing NEET 2022 to August or early September will not affect the new academic year

In simple terms, NEET 2022 students unanimously want the entrance exam to be rescheduled to August or September 2022. Considering the fact that NEET PG 2022 was conducted as per schedule, there is bleak chance of the education ministry complying with this decision.
