Tips to prepare for NEET 2022 Biology

With only 10 days left for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 exam, here are some useful tips and tricks to score 360/360 in NEET 2022 Biology –

# On each day, solve all chapter-wise mock tests for one unit of NCERT Class 11 or 12. Later, try solving a full-syllabus mock test within 60 minutes. (The same tip can be used for Physics and Chemistry).

# Before going to bed, read 1–2 chapters from the NCERT biology textbook. If the previous textbook has too many notes and marks, buy a new textbook and freshly mark the important points.

# In the case of information-rich chapters like Animalia and Plantae, create a table of names, characteristics, and examples for each Phylum. Revise this table daily before solving a full-length mock test.

# Occasionally, replace the full-length mock tests with previous-year question papers from 2010-2021. NEET is infamous for repeating past-year questions. Hence, solving such papers will benefit the candidate.

Which NEET 2022 Biology books in the last 10 years?

In addition to revising from NCERT Biology textbook, candidates can also refer to the following books for previous-year questions and practice mock tests –

# Dr. Ali – Vol 1, 2 – This book contains chapter-wise questions which may be NCERT-based or test a candidate’s subject understanding.

# Arihant Previous-year Questions – For practicing NEET questions from past 30 years, candidates can purchase this book online. However, PYQs are already available online, free-of-cost.

Chapter to not miss in NEET 2022 Biology

After analyzing NEET previous-year papers, the following is a list of chapters that candidates must revise in the last 10 days of preparation –

# Human Physiology focusing on terms like Peristalsis, Sphincter of Oddi, Eruthroblastosis Foetalis, etc)

# Ecology and Environment (all chapters from this unit)

# Evolution

# Microbes (names like Aspergillus niger, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Clostridium butylicum)

# Kingdom Plantae and Animalia

# Biotechnology (both chapters)

By incorporating these tips and suggestions in the NEET 2022 last 10-day preparation strategy, aspirants can easily score 360 marks in the Biology subject.
