NEET 2021 examination has been successfully conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on September 12, 2021. But, so far, the agency has not announced the date for releasing the official NEET 2021 official answer key. Based on previous year records, it is expected that the official answer key will be available between September 26 and 27, 2021.
In 2020, the NEET examination was held on September 13, 2020, while the provisional answer key was released on September 27, 2020, i.e. 14 days after the examination. Likewise, in 2019, the NEET examination was held on May 05, 2019, and the official answer key was made available on May 29, 2019. Hence, the difference between the examination date and the answer key release date is 24 days. In 2018, the examination took place on May 06, 2018, and the official answer keys were released 21 days later, i.e. on May 27, 2018.
As per these calculations, the NEET 2021 official answer key by NTA is likely to be available from September 26, 2021, onwards. However, once released the answer keys will be displayed on the official website – neet.nta.nic.in. To check the NEET 2021 official answer key after it is released, visit the official website first. Candidates can crosscheck their answers and also download the answer key for future reference.
Please note that September 26, 2021, is only the tentative date for the NEET 2021 official answer key to be available. Students are advised to keep a check on neet.nta.nic.in for the exact date of displaying the official answer key. Right after the publication of the NEET 2021 official answer key, candidates will get the opportunity to challenge the answers. To raise a challenge, candidates have to pay a certain amount, question-wise. However, the specified period of submitting challenges will be notified.
Challenges that will be submitted by the candidates are going to be verified by a panel of subject experts. In case the challenges are found to be correct, then the answer key will be revised accordingly. The NEET 2021 final result will be prepared and declared according to the NEET 2021 revised final answer key. Please note that the answer key that will be prepared based on the challenges will be treated final. After that, based on a standard procedure of evaluation, the results and scorecards of NEET 2021 will be released.
