NEET 2019 Started at 2:00 pm; 15 lakh candidates appearing for the exam

Candidates registered for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 are all set to appear for the exam. The duration of the entrance test is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The candidates have reached their respective exam centres mentioned on their admit card. Today, on May 05 around 15 lakhs candidates have appeared for the exams.

NEET 2019 is the national level entrance test conducted around 154 cities across the country. Today is a big day for all the medical aspirants. Along with the candidates, the parents are also bit stressed before the exams. To avoid any delay candidates reached at their respective exam centre around one hour before the exam time. Parents are waiting outside the exam centre for their children until the end of the exam.

NEET 2019 Started at 2:00 pm

However, due to the ‘Fani Cyclone’ NTA has postponed the NEET 2019 for Odisha. 

National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted NEET 2019 across the country.NEET entrance test is the pen and paper based test consisting of total 720 marks with a total of 180 questions from PCB group. All those candidates who will clear the exams will get eligible for the admission in MBS and BDS courses. Along with this candidates can also get eligible to get admission at the reputed medical colleges. Only AIIMS and JIPMER are excluded from NEET 2019.

To appear for the entrance test candidates were asked to carry the admit card issued by NTA. Along with this, there were strict instructions to be followed regarding the dress code for the male and female candidates.

After the completion of the test in a few hours, a wait for the answer key will be started. Though the unofficially answer key will start to be uploaded by the many reputed coaching institutes which would be memory based. Officially the answer key will be uploaded on May 07. Candidates are advised to calculate the marks beforehand and estimate their scores. While there is a negative marking in the paper. 1 mark will be deducted against the wrong answer and 4 marks will be awarded for the correct answer.

After the availability of the official answer key students can also challenge the answer key by raising the objections. After that, a final merit list will be announced on June 05, 2019 on its official website- ntaneet.nic.in.

NTA is all responsible to conduct the NEET 2019 at the national level. From the entrance test to the result NTA holds the responsibility. Around 15 lakhs aspirants appeared for NEET 2019. We soon come back with more latest updates!
