NCSM Recruitment 2020: Vacancies Out for Secretary and Curator-B, Apply Before August 31, 2020

Those who have Master's Degree/Engineering Degree in relevant disciplines can apply for 06 vacant posts under Administrative and Scientific Category

National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) is inviting online application for the recruitment of Secretary and Curator -B posts. A total of 05 vacancies are announced for Curator-B and 01 vacancies are announced for Secretary. Eligible aspirants can submit the application form in prescribed format before August 31, 2020. Candidates who are interested in recruitment can download Advertisement No. 02/2020 from ncsm.gov.in to know more information about recruitment.

The recruitment is conducted for administrative and scientific categories. Aspirants who are shortlisted under Secretary post receives Rs. 1,31,100 – Rs. 2,16,600. Those who are appointed under Curator B post for Mechanical Engineering/ Electrician/ Physics/ Computer Science gets a monthly salary of Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500/-.

To apply for the post of Secretary, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Science/Commerce/Arts with a minimum of 55% marks. Besides, a degree in law for this post is desirable. Candidates who have a relevant engineering degree in the concerned subject are eligible for the post of Curator B. Candidates, age should be within the age range of 55 years for Secretary, 35 years for Curator B as on August 31, 2020.

The application form for Secretary through direct recruitment and deputation basis can be submitted through the online process. The form is available on the official website along with the official notification. A digital copy of application form along with the supporting certificate and documents should be sent to the email address – [email protected]. The documents should be in PDF format only.

Aspirants who wish to apply for Curator-B have to submit the form through email address. Download the application form from ncsm.gov.in or from the website of respective zonal offices. Candidates have to mark the languages they can read, write and speak as the shortlisted candidates are transferred all over India. The filled-in application form should be submitted with the relevant documents to the zonal office nearest to the candidates through post or in person. Candidates have to attach their proof of qualification, work experience, photograph, fee receipt – demand draft/e-receipt.

Candidates have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/-. The fee can be paid through online directly to the account or through demand draft. The information for the submission of a fee to the account is available on the official notification. To submit fees through demand draft, candidates have to draw a DD in favour of “National Council of Science Museum”. There is no application fee required for those applying for Secretary post on deputation basis, SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Physically Challenged Person/Women applying for Curator -B.
