National Testing Agency (NTA) shall be opening the correction window for the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) 2021 tomorrow i.e., June 29, 2021. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam can use this correction window till July 05, 2021, to make changes in their application form. The correction window link shall be made available by NTA on the official website nchmjee.nta.nic.in. As of now, however, the revised examination date for NCHMJEE 2021 is yet to be announced.
Previously, the Hotel Management entrance exam was scheduled on June 12, 2021, and registration for the same was to end on May 10, 2021, 11:50 pm. Thereafter, the correction window was to be made available from May 12 to 16, 2021, for candidates to make changes in their particulars. However, due to the second wave of COVID-19, the exam was postponed indefinitely and the registration deadline was extended till yesterday, June 27, 2021, up to 11:50 pm. The correction window schedule was also revised and shall begin from tomorrow.
To make changes in the application form, candidates must login to the official website using their application number, password and security PIN. After logging-in, aspirants shall gain access to their application form to rectify the given details. They are also permitted to re-upload images in case they are not following the image specifications.
Candidates can edit their details like name, contact information, category, PwD status, educational qualification details, choice of exam city, date of birth, etc during this correction period. Thereafter, NTA shall not be entertaining any requests for correction in the NCHM JEE 2021 application form. Furthermore, these corrections are to be done through the online mode on the official website nchmjee.nta.nic.in. Any corrections sent via fax, post, WhatsApp or email shall not be entertained.
Candidates were previously, advised to carefully choose their exam city. The same can be changed using the correction window during the specified period. However, after July 05, 2021, no change in exam city shall be entertained. Hence, candidates are to maintain utmost caution while making any changes in their NCHM JEE 2021 application form.
The entrance exam revised date still remains a mystery and invariably, so does the release of admit cards. While the NTA is yet to make an announcement regarding the NCHM JEE 2021 exam date, a tentative schedule can be determined. As per original schedule, there was a month’s gap between the registration deadline and the entrance exam date. Following this, NCHM JEE 2021 is likely to be conducted in the last week of July 2021, preferably by July 27 or 28, 2021. However, with the increasing fears of a third wave, the exam might get postponed further.
