NEET SS 2019 result has been declared by the National Board of Examination (NBE) on July 15, 2019. The result is available in the form of a merit list on the official website, nbe.edu.in. The list is prepared separately for all the subjects. Candidates can check and download the result from there. The NEET SS 2019 was a Computer Based Test conducted on June 28, 2019.
To check the NEET SS Result 2019, candidates can visit the official website of NBE. On the homepage of the website, click on the relevant link for checking the resilt and select the subject. The result will be available in the form of a PDF. You can download the result and print it out from there for future purposes. The merit list will hold details like the roll number, score out of 400, along with merit or rank secured by the candidate. Unlike other results, the NEET SS 2019 result is only valid for 1 year.
To qualify candidates will have to score equal to or more than the 50th percentile in their respective specialty. Only then the candidate will be eligible for admission into the PG courses.
The merit is strictly based on the marks scored by the candidate and the application of the tie-breaking criteria.
If candidates score the same in a particular super specialty course then first, the candidate having less number of negative responses in the overall paper will be placed on the higher merit position. Second, the candidate obtaining a higher score in Part B of the paper will be given a higher merit position. Third, a candidate having less number of negative responses in Part B of the paper will be given a higher merit position. Lastly, the older candidate will be given a higher merit position.
After the result, there shall be a common counseling process for all seats of NEET SS 2019 at the National Level. The qualified candidates will have to apply for the counseling process that will be conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India. The qualified candidate can apply on the website of the exam conducting body, http://www.mcc.nic.in. the counseling schedule is not out yet. While applying, candidates shall enter the prescribed date and time to attend the counseling process. Candidates must report at the time of counseling with all the required documents/ certificates. Candidates will be allotted seats on merit-cum-preference. There will be subsequent rounds to fill in the seats left from the previous round.
Document verification and eligibility determination shall be undertaken at the time of the counseling process. The institutions that are not covered for admissions in DM/MCh seats through NEET SS 2019 session are AIIMS Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, and SCTIMST, Thiruvananthapuram.
NEET SS 2019 is a single entrance exam for admissions to various D/MCh courses. The merit list is used to allot seats for DNB Super-Specialty and FNB Fellowship courses. NBE has no role in the counseling process and the allotment of the seats. Its sole responsibility is to conduct the exam and handling of the result to MCC, DGHS and MoFHW.
