NBE Announces NEET PG 2021 Exam Date, Check Notice Here!

National Board of Examination has scheduled the NEET PG 2021 exam for admission to MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses on January 10, 2021.

National Board of Examinations has released the examination date for NEET PG 2021. NBE will be conducting NEET PG 2021 exam on January 10, 2021. However, it is important to note that the schedule is tentative in nature. The dates may or may not alter sometime in future. To get the schedule, aspirants shall visit the official website of NBE, natboard.edu.in.

Along with NEET PG 2021 exam date, NBE has also announced the tentative schedule for FMGE Dec 2020 session, NEET MDS 2021 and DNB PDCET 2021 admission session. More information on these examinations will be announced on NBE website, nbe.edu.in, in due course of time.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET PG) is an entrance examination that is conducted on a national level. NEET PG is conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) once in a year. This examination is organized for the admissions to MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Course. No other national level/ institute level examination is considered for admission to MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses. Moreover, NEET exam is also mandatory for foreign candidates to take admission in medical courses in India.

Qualifying NEET PG examination confers all India 50% quota seats in all states and union territories. Candidates can easily seek admission in MD/MS/Diploma Courses in the academic year in all Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities, Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions and DNB Post MBBS Courses. However, the following institutes are not covered through NEET PG – AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMS, PGIMER Chandigarh, JIPMER Puducherry, JIPMER Puducherry and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology Trivandrum.

Only those candidates who have completed their MBSS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate from Medical Council of India can apply for this exam. A permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS degree is mandatory. A documents proof in of MCI registration should be produced on the date of examination at the time of counselling or admission. They must have completed their 01 year Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship.

NBE will be conducting a computer based test for NEET PG 2021. As of now, NBE has released the official notification for this “Qualifying cum Ranking Examination”. It is expected that the CBT examination will have Multiple Choice Questions, keeping the previous year’s exam pattern in mind. Candidates have to answer 300 MCQs within the time duration of 03 hours and 30 minutes. Each question carries 04 marks. The NEET PG question paper shall be divided into 03 parts – Part A, Part B and Part C. It is important to note that there will be negative marking for every incorrect answer. NBE will deduct 01 marks for each incorrect answer marked by students. Candidates are suggested to keep visiting the official website in order to stay updated about any changes been conducted in NEET PG 2021.
