NATA 2022 exam to be held thrice this year
In the official notification released by CoA, it is mentioned that the NATA exam will be held thrice this year. until 2018, the exam was conducted only once in a year. In 2019 and 2020, it was conducted twice. However, last year, it was conducted thrice, owing to the COVID pandemic. Even though the exam is conducted thrice, candidates will only be able to appear for a maximum of 2 times. The multiple attempts will give the candidates more chances to ace the exam and improve their scores. It also provides more opportunity to the students, thus ensuring that all eligible candidates get a fair representation.
NATA 2022: No clashes with JEE Main 2022
The Joint Entrance Examination is conducted twice year to test the eligibility of the candidates interested in B.E, B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning. The JEE Main Paper 2 A exam is conducted for B.Arch courses. This year, the first session of JEE Main will be held from April 16 to 21, and the second session from May 24 to 29. Thus the NATA exam dates do not clash with the JEE Main exam. This provides the candidates ample time to plan and prepare for both the exams.
What is NATA?
The NATA exam is conducted to provide admissions to eligible candidates for the 5 year B.Arch course offered at various institutes across the country.
