For the Class 12 Science Stream students, another major subject exam was conducted today, December 10, 2021, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 12 Physics Exam 2021-22 today, for a duration of 90 minutes. Students had to utilize this entire time for attempting and completing all 35 multiple-choice questions. Physics is usually, a dreaded subject for most students. However, today’s paper was moderate in terms of difficulty level, for most students. Few students could finish the exam minutes earlier.
CBSE Class 12 Physics 2021-22 Analysis
According to Class 12 students who appeared for the Physics exam today, the paper contained a good standard of questions, comparable with those present in any competitive exam. The numerical-based questions were more compared to direct-answer questions. This implies that students who were thorough with formulae and tricks could easily solve today’s paper. However, this might have made the exam bit more difficult for an average student out there.
Students, however, did not have to rack their brains as the numerical-based questions were formula-based. But some students found the paper to be lengthy. Each question was allotted 0.7 marks. So, a student had to attempt at least 44 questions out of 55 to score the perfect figure of 35/35.
To score full marks, students had to be more thorough with the relevant formulae instead of theory or any factual data. Moreover, most students find it difficult to complete mathematical calculations rapidly. So on an average level, the paper was definitely not a herculean task to complete. Neither was it too easy for every student to score well. In simple terms, the overall paper was balanced with easy, moderate, and difficult questions.
As clarified by the central education board, today’s CBSE Class 12 Physics 2021-22 paper only included chapters from the 70% syllabus. This year, CBSE divided the 70% syllabus into two terms – Term I and Term II. So, students were required to only study 35% of the syllabus. Following is an overview of the syllabus covered in today’s paper –
