The result for NATA 2018 has been announced by Council of Architecture. The result has been sent to the candidates at their registered e-mail id. The exam for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA 2018) was held on April 29, 2018, from 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
The candidates can also check the result from login. To check the result, the candidates should visit the official website at nata.in. Then click on the link for TCS Ion. A new page will appear, then click on the link for “NATA 2018 Result“. Next, enter login details such as Application Sequence Number and Password (Date of Birth). Click on Login Button and submit the details. Finally, the students should download and take a print out of the NATA 2018 Result for future reference.
The result will consist of details such as marks obtained in each section, marks out of 200, candidate’s Pass/ Fail status, etc.
To qualify the entrance test, the candidates need to obtain minimum qualifying marks in the entrance test. The cut off for NATA 2018 has been decided by COA. The students need minimum to obtain minimum 25% in MCQ portion (30 out of 120), whereas, the students need to obtain minimum 25% in drawing portion (20 out of 80).
After the declaration of NATA 2018 Result, the CoA will prepare a merit list. Only those who obtain marks equal to or greater than the cut off marks, will be included in the merit list. The qualified candidates will then be eligible to appear for counselling for NATA 2018.
The COA released the recorded responses of candidates for Part A on May 16, 2018. However, there was no provision for scrutiny or reviews of the answer sheets/ recorded responses.
There candidates will be offered admission to different colleges and institutes offering Bachelor of Architecture course (B.Arch) depending on the marks secured by each candidate in NATA 2018. The list of participating colleges are Ansal University, AU College of Engineering, Bharath University, BS Abdur Rahman University, CEPT University, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh College of Architecture, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Department of Architecture, BIT, Department of Architecture, IIT Roorkee, Department of Architecture, NIT Calicut, Department of Architecture, NIT Tiruchirapalli, Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics, JMI, Delhi, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Hindustan University, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, ITM University, KIIT University, R V School of Architecture, RVCE, Sharda University, Sir J J College of Architecture, Sri Sri University, SRM University, Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Vismayam College of Art and Media.
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture, NATA evaluates the applicants’ aptitude for Architecture, drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.
