National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has released the Development Assistant (DA) recruitment 2019 preliminary exam admit card today, on October 14, 2019. Along with the call letter, handouts have been published that contain exam details.
To download the call letter, candidates need to visit nabard.org >> click career notices >> click the link to continue >> click download call letter. Then login with either registration number or roll number, and date of birth or password.
On admit card download page, NABARD has provided answers to the five most frequently asked questions. They are on how to download call letter, what to do if there is a delay in accessing page, where to get registration number and password, date of birth is rejected on screen, login displays failed message. Forgot password link has also been provided at the login, wherein, one can enter registration number and mobile or email ID in order to reset their password.
The handout released with the call letter tells the exam pattern. As per it, NABARD DA recruitment 2019 preliminary exam will be an objective test. It will have three sections namely english language, reasoning, and numerical ability. These sections will respectively have 40, 30, and 30 questions. Overall duration for the test will be 60 minutes or 1 hour. Each question will be of 1 mark. Negative marking will be 0.25 per incorrect answer.
Sample questions have also been given for the computer based test. Each question will have five options, out of which, only one will be correct. Operational instructions in the handout gives a good explanation on color coding of questions, to know which code means that question is not visited yet, which means question unanswered, or answered. Also note the code that means question not answered but marked for review, and which means answered and marked for review.
NABARD will declare results of prelims around one week after the exam. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear in mains. There will also be a language proficiency test. Whereas prelims is for 100 marks, mains will be for 200.
NABARD is conducting recruitment for the position of development assistants, and development assistants hindi, with 82 and 9 vacancies respectively. For the purpose of selection, the bank will conduct preliminary and main exams, one by one. The first of the two exams, prelims, has been scheduled to be held on October 20, 2019. The last date to download admit card is also the date of prelims. Whereas the online applications were invited from September 14, 2019, to October 2, 2019, all candidates who submitted their forms in that duration have now been issued call letters.
