Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MP PEB) / MP Vyapam Board has released the answer key of English paper of Madhya Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (MP TET). MP TET exam was conducted on February 16, 2019. But the exam of English paper was rescheduled on September 29 from 9:30 am to 12 pm.
To check the answer key of re-exam of MP TET, candidates that have appeared in the exam will have to visit the official website of MP PEB, peb.mp.gov.in. After landing on the homepage, click on the link that reads as ‘Model Answer Key – High School Teacher Eligibility test – 2019 (Re-Exam). The answer key will be generated in the computer screen.
The answer key is out in a PDF format containing 10 questions from general hindi, 8 questions from general english, 7 from general knowledge, 15 from pedagogy and 100 questions from english paper. After downloading the answer key, candidates need to verify and cross check with the answers marks in the exam. The answer key will help the candidates by giving them a rough idea about their performance in the exam.
According to the exam scheme, MP TET exam comprises of two sections, Section A and Section B. Section A is of 150 marks based on the questions from general hindi, general english, general knowledge, reasoning and pedagogy. There is no negative marking and 1 marks is being allotted for each correct answer.
Whereas under section B, candidates had to select either one of the total of 16 elective subjects – Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Home Science, History, Geography, Agriculture, Economics, Sociology, Politics and Commerce.
Very soon, the board will publish the results for the exam at peb.mp.gov.in after careful consideration of the answer key. In order to qualify the examination, the board has decoded the minimum qualifying marks. Candidates have to obtain 60 % marks in order to qualify he exam and 50 % for candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC / PWD.
MP PEB, Madhya Pradesh conducts exam for both high school and middle school teachers separately. This year, the board will be filling up 17,000 vacancies of high school teachers and 5,670 vacancies of middle school teachers.
MP PEB, was initially called as Pre-Medical Test board in the year 1970. Later, in the year 1981, Pre-examination board was constituted. Soon after the year 1982, both these board was amalgamated and named as Professional Examination Board (PEB). PEB organizes various entrance tests for Polytechnic diploma courses, Pre-Ayurved, Homeopathic, Unani, Naturopathy & yoga degree courses, Diploma in Animal Husbandry, Veterinary and Fisheries, B.Tech. (Ag. Engg.), B.Sc. (Ag.), B.Sc. (Forestry), B.Sc. (Horticulture), B.Sc. (Ag. & Entrepreneurship).
PEB is a self-financed, autonomous incorporated body of the state government. The Government has re_constituted the Board of Directors for taking decisions on policy and organizational matters through Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board Act. 2007.
