Madhya Pradesh High Court, Jabalpur, has released the admit card for Higher Judicial Services (HJS) Main exam 2019 for the post of district judge (entry level). Candidates who have qualified the prelims can now download the mains admit card, available on the official website, mphc.gov.in.
To download the admit cards for HJS Mains exam, candidates need to visit the online portal of high court of M.P and search for the link to download admit card for HJS under ‘Exam Updates’ section. Login in by entering the registration number and date of birth. Download the admit cards and take a print out of the same.
The date for mains exam for each candidate is mentioned in his or her admit card. As per the notice, the exam will be held on two consecutive days in first and second shift. There will be 4 descriptive question papers. Each paper will be of 3 hours duration carrying 100 marks each. The paper include questions from Civil laws and procedure, writing skill, court practice and current legal knowledge, criminal laws and procedure and judgement writing.
After evaluation of the Mains exam, the result will be declared without any delay. The qualifying marks of the mains exam is 55 % (for UR and OBC), i.e 220 marks out of 400. Candidates belonging to (SC and ST) has to secure atleast 50 %, i.e 200 marks out of 400. Qualifiers of Mains will have to then appear for Interview / viva voce. Candidates will be called for the interview in the ratio of 1:3 (three candidates against one post).
The Interview / viva voce shall carry 50 marks and candidates have to secure atleast 40 % in it. The interview will be held only at Jabalpur. For it, call letters will be generated along with a interview plan carrying roll number, name of the candidate, place, date and time of the interview, list of original documents to be produced for checking , shall be ported on the official website. of M.P high court.
The original documents of the candidates will be checked by the Staffs of the examination cell and if any candidate fails to produce so, he/she may be debarred from appearing in the Interview. Moreover, those who remains absent in the Interview, shall be deemed to disqualification for selection.
The result will be prepared on the basis of roll number wise and merit – cum – category wise and it will get published on the MP high court website as well as the notice board of the high court (examination cell).
Before the appointment, candidates will be required to undergo medical examination for which they have to pay a non-refundable medical exam fee.
Those who will be appointed as the district judge will have to be on a probation of two years under the cadre of Higher Judicial Service. They will be recruited in a pay band of Rs. 51550-1230-58930-1380-63070.
