MP Board 10th Result 2020 to be Declared Today: Know Steps to Check Result

Madhya Pradesh Board will announce the class 10th result today at mpbse.nic.in, mpresults.nic.in. The result can also be checked from third party website like examresults.net.

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is going to declare MP board 10th result 2020 today by 12 noon. The wait for about 11 lakh students who appeared for MP Board 10th exam will be finally over today. The result can be checked online at mpbseresults.nic.in, mbpse.mponline.gov.in, mpbse.nic.in. Other than the official website, MP 10th result can also be obtained on several mobile apps including MPBSE Mobile app, MP Mobile app, and Fastresults app which are available for download on Google Play Store or MP Mobile App on Window App store.

To check MP Board Class 10th examination 2020 result, the students have to first visit the official website. Then, on the home page the website, click on the link MP Board 10th Result 2020. Next, enter their roll number (as mentioned in the admit card) and application number. After entering the details, click on the ‘submit’ button. After clicking on the submit button, the result will be displayed on the screen. The last step requires to download the result and take a printout of it for future references.

Last year, MP Board Class 10th examination result was declared on May 15 at 11.00 AM. But this year, the result has been delayed due to the Coronavirus lockdown which resulted delay in completion of exam and evaluation of answer scripts.

In order to be declared as qualified, students need to obtain 33 per cent marks in each subject. However, this year, the board exam result will be announced based on the best of three papers because two papers had been cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, it means, if a student fails in one subject, he/she would be declared pass on the basis of marks of three subjects.

The details that are mentioned in MP Board Class 10th result are students’ name, centre code, school code, enrollment number, application number parents name, date of birth, subject names, subject codes, theory marks, practical / internal marks, remarks, grand total, regular / private. 

Along with MP Board Class 10th Examination Result 2020, the merit list has also been released. Two types of merit list have been released. One is the state-wise merit list and the other is the district wise merit list. The merit lists are released in the PDF format and it comprises of the details like name of the students, marks obtained, roll number of students, rank obtained etc.

This year, over 11.5 lakh students appeared for the MP Board Class 10th 2020 examination, and almost 1 crore 33 lakh copies were evaluated. Talking about the statistics of the previous year, about 11.32 lakh students appeared for the MP Board Class 10th examination. The overall pass percentage was 63.89%. Last year, girls overshadowed boys as the pass percentage of girls was 63.69% whereas, the pass percentage for boys was 59.15%.
