In another blow to government job aspirants waiting for RRB NTPC exam date, admit card announcement, the Railway Recruitment Boards today announced that the dates for finalization of exam conducting agency is being rescheduled due to the COVID-19 situation and the 21 days lockdown.
While the RRBs are receiving bids against the tender online, there was supposed to be a pre-bid conference on April 7, 2020. However due to the prevalent situation, this conference cannot be organized. As a result, all dates from thereon stand cancelled.
RRBs had floated a tender on March 2, 2020, inviting tenders to engage exam conducting agency to conduct computer based tests and other activities related to the RRB NTPC (CEN 01/2019). The total cost of the work exceeds Rs 251 crores. In that tender, the date of pre-bid conference was March 24, 2020, and the deadline for receiving bids was April 7, 2020.
Then corrigendum no. 1 was issued to the tender, on March 24, 2020, to revise the dates due to COVID-19. As per the revised dates, the pre-bid conference was supposed to be on April 7, 2020. Then release of responses and clarifications on pre bid queries was April 21, 2020. After that deadline for bids was April 30, 2020. Then the tenders were to be opened on April 30, 2020, at 3 pm.
Now the corrigendum no. 2 published today overrules the dates published in the previous one. Further it clarifies that all updates from hereon on this matter will only be published at ireps.gov.in. It is also possible, state RRBs, that the pre-bid conference may be held through video conferencing if needed.
Against the RRB Non Technical Popular Categories (CEN 01/2019), a total of 1,26,30,885 candidates had applied. Likewise for the RRB-RRC Group D (RRC CEN 01/2019), the number of applications received were 1,15,67,248. Even considering candidates common to both, a gigantic number of govt job aspirants await the announcements for RRB NTPC exam date, RRB Group D exam date, and download of RRB NTPC admit card, and RRB NTPC admit card.

Name of work: Engaging Exam Conducting (ECA) for conducting multiple stages of Computer Based Test, Computer Based Aptitude/ Typing Skill Test, Document Verification and all other related services in connection with Centralized Employment Notice (CEN) No.01/2019 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) all over India.
In view of preventive measures to be taken to contain the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the 21 days lockdown period announced by Government of India until 14.04.2020, the date of Pre-Bid Conference, Closing and Opening dates of bids/offers which were indicated vide Corrigendum 1 are hereby revised further and the fresh dates will be intimated on IREPS website in due course. No further newspaper advertisement will be released in this regard.
You may logon to http://www.ireps.gov.in for any further revision in dates/updates. Depending on the: prevalent situation, the Pre-Bid Conference may be held through video conferencing, if required.
