Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change is inviting applications from reputed service providers registered under Registrar of Companies for engagement of contractual staff in 2020. MoEF has published a detailed advertisement in this regard at the official website i.e. moef.gov.in. As per the advertisement, 7 vacancies are available for posts such as Scientist, Research Officer, Technical Officer etc. Eligible candidates can apply by forwarding applications to [email protected]. There are vacancies for the posts of Scientist D, Scientist C, Research Officer/Research Assistant, Technical Officer/Research Investigator, LDC/UDC, MTS, and Legal Assistant. All of the vacancies are to be filled up on a contractual basis for a period of 1 year only. Selection will be done through personal interview only.
Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment. For the posts of Scientist D and C, candidates must have a Master’s degree in natural Science or Agricultural Science. Candidates having a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology/Medicine or a Doctorate in Natural Science/Agricultural Science/Technology/Engineering are also eligible to apply for this post.
For the post of Research Officer/Research Assistant, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences or other specified disciplines. Similarly, for the post of Technical Officer/Research Investigator, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Statistics/Operations Research or other specified disciplines in order to apply. 12th pass candidates can apply for LDC/UDC posts while Class 10th pass candidates are eligible to apply for MTS post. For the post of Legal Assistant, Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Law is required. Selected candidates will have to provide 2 integrity certificates from references known to them.
Applications can only be submitted by service providers in the form of quotations (along with self attested copies of educational qualifications and post qualification experience of the candidates). The applications must be typed neatly on A4 size paper. MoEF has specified the format of the text as well. The text in the applications must be in the Arial font in 12 font size. Incomplete/ambiguous/illegible/handwritten applications in other formats are not accepted for this recruitment.
