Candidates can now download the MICAT Admit Card 2019 for December 01, 2018 Exam. It is available at official website of MICA at www.mica.acin. Since the hall ticket has been released only four days before the exam, candidates must download it without any delay. Check the important details like registration details, photograph, and signature. In case of any errors, contact the MICA officials immediately.
This year the exam will conduct in 48 cities all over India. Candidates must locate their test centre atleast one day before the exam. On the test day, remember to carry MICAT call letter and photo identity proof. In order to clear the exam, candidates must practice questions from a psychometric test, essay writing, and general knowledge. For better preparation, candidates can also access the sample paper available at official website. The Psychometric test will act as a qualifier round in the exam.
According to official webiste, candidates must keep ready for exam until 6:00 Pm for re-examination, in case of any such requirement.
The MICA Admission Test conducts two times a year for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management Communication (PGDM-C) programmes. Overall MICAT exam has weighage of 30% in the selection process. In addition to that, CAT/XAT/ GMAT, Group Exercise, and Personal Interview have a weightage of 20%, 30%, 30% respectively. Out of total candidates who appear for the exam only 10% (approx) gets selected for GE-PI round.
PGDM-C programme is the two-year full-time programme with an average of 180 seats. Candidates who have an interest in Advertisement, PR, Marketing must apply for this course offered by MICA. The two-year programme fee is Rs 16,50, 000 approximately. This course has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) with a focus on communication and community outreach. MICA also provides a scholarship to deserving students. Candidates who missed applying for MICAT 1 can apply for MICAT-II from December 20, 2018.
About MICAT – Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, conducts MICAT every year for the admission in PGDM-C course.
