The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has successfully completed the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MHT CET 2021 on October 01, 2021. Candidates, after qualifying for this examination, will be eligible to take admission in various engineering, pharmacy and agriculture courses in the state. Now that the examination is over, candidates seem to be in anticipation regarding the availability of the MHT CET answer key 2021. However, once the answer keys are released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, candidates can check the same from the official website – cetcell.mahacet.org.
In 2020, the examination ended on October 20, 2020, and the answer keys were released on November 10, 2020. This means that the MHT CET answer key was released 21 days after the examination was conducted. Similarly, in 2019, the examination concluded on May 13, 2019, while the answer keys were made available on May 15, 2019, i.e. 02 days after the last examination date.
Now, back in 2018, the MHT CET examination took place on May 10, 2018, and the answer keys were available on May 25, 2018. The difference between both dates is 15 days. The same was the case in 2017 as the examination was held on May 11, 2017, and the MHT CET answer key was released on May 26, 2017. This means that the answer keys were available after 15 days after the examination date.
Taking cues from the previous year trends of releasing the answer keys, the MHT CET answer key 2021 can be expected within 15 to 20 days from the last examination date. In that case, the answer keys are likely to be available on the official website between October 16, 2021 and October 21, 2021.
Nevertheless, this assumption is based upon the calculations of the previous year dates. The dates may or may not exactly be the same. As per the official information brochure of MHT CET 2021, the provisional answer key for each version of the question paper will be made available on mhtcet2021.mahacet.org. Candidates can access their responses by entering their registration ID and password. The MHT CET 2021 results will be declared in due course of time. The mark sheet will be available to download from the same website.
After that, the competent authority will invite applications for admission. However, only after proper verification of the documents and eligibility, the concerned authority will publish the merit lists as per the rules. In case a candidate remains absent in any PCB or PCM subject, then the total marks for PCM or PCB will be marked ‘ABS’.
