State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra is all set to begin the MHT CET 2022 registration today, February 10, 2022. Candidates who are interested in pursuing undergraduate courses like B.Tech. and B.Pharm. can begin applying for the entrance test starting today. The form will be released on the official website cetcell.mahacet.org. This implies that the entire registration process shall take place through the online mode. Candidates are expected to fill and submit the online form latest by March 31, 2022.
MHT CET 2022 Official Notification
Recently, the state cell released an official notification regarding the MHT CET 2022 examination. The notice was also published on the official portal for a candidate’s reference. Accordingly, those wishing to pursue undergraduate courses in Engineering, Science and Medicine can apply for MHT CET 2022 from February 10, 2022, to March 31, 2022.
Candidates have also been given a additional set of days to pay the MHT CET 2022 application fee. This set begins on April 01, 2022, and ends on April 07, 2022, at 11:59 pm. However, during this period, candidates will also have to bear certain late fee charges.
The official notice further reiterated that till March 31, 2022, candidates will not have to bear any additional costs or charges. So, it is advised for aspirants to complete the entire registration process within this period. So that they wouldn’t have to bear the unnecessary charges at a later stage.
MHT CET 2022 Notification, Information Brochure Not Out
The official notice states that the MHT CET 2022 notification and information brochure have been made available on the exam’s official website i.e., cetcell.mahacet.org. However, one careful look at the portal reveals that no such documents have been published so far.
Under such circumstances, it is safe to assume that both documents will release at the same time as the MHT CET 2022 application form. If this happens, candidates shall also receive clarity on dates for correction in particulars, admit card release and exam date. As of now, one can only predict the date for these events. So, most media outlets predict the exam date to fall in the month of May 2022, around the same time as other major exams like JEE Main and NEET.
