State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra, scheduled to end the MHT CET 2022 registration today, May 11, 2022, at 11:59 pm. All those interested in applying for this entrance exam have merely 12 hours to fill and submit the online form. The application process is entirely online, on the official website mhtcet2022.mahacet.org. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2022 is set to be conducted on August 2022, as specified in the tentative datesheet uploaded by state authorities.
All those who wish to apply today need to keep one important point in mind – in addition to application fee, candidates must also bear the late fee charges. An extra amount of Rs.500 shall be added to the MHT CET 2022 application fee.
MHT CET 2022 Overview of Registration Schedule
Initially, the MHT CET 2022 application process began on February 10, 2022, on mhtcet2022.mahacet.org, and was scheduled to end on April 15, 2022, at 11:59 pm. Thereafter, candidates could apply till April 23, 2022, 11:59 pm, by bearing late fee charges. Online payment of application fee was permitted till April 23, 2022, 11:59 pm.
After incessant requests by candidates, the state authorities decided on extending the MHT CET 2022 registration deadline. Thereafter, candidates could fill the form till May 11, 2022, 11:59 pm, with late fee charges. The following update was published on the official website –

After an extension of 18 days, the state authorities are unlikely to extend the registration deadline again.
MHT CET 2022 Tentative Exam Date
According to the revised datesheet uploaded by the Maharashtra CET cell, the MHT CET 2022 exam is likely to be conducted from August 05 to 11, 2022, for PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) group. For the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group, entrance test is planned from August 12 to 20, 2022. However, the test will not take place on August 15, 16 and 17, 2022.
MHT CET 2022 Past Year Statistics
Last year, the MHT CET exam was conducted from September 20 to October 01, 2021. As many as 5,17,132 candidates had registered for the entrance test out of which, 82,155 PCM aspirants and 29,060 PCB aspirants qualified the exam. A similar level of participation is expected to follow suit this year.
