The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has revised the dates for the 05 Common Entrance Test (CET) courses. Earlier, the tentative schedule for MHT CET 2021 was released on September 07, 2021. However, today, i.e. September 17, 2021, the State CET Cell has published a revised schedule for 05 courses. MHT CET 2021 will be conducted to admit students to the various professional courses in the state.
CETs for courses such as Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology/ B. Planning, Masters of Education, Bachelors of Education & Masters of Education (three-year integrated course), Bachelor of Law (five-year integrated course), and Bachelors of Physical Education were supposed to be held on October 03, 2021. However, due to the clashing of the said exams with JEE Advanced 2021, they will now be held on October 08, 2021. The decision came after the State CET Cell, Maharashtra received requests from IIT, Bombay regarding the non-availability of examination centres for JEE Advanced 2021 exam.
The offline physical test for Bachelors of Physical Education was earlier supposed to be conducted on October 04, 05, 06, and 07, 2021. However, the same will now be held on October 09, 10, 11 and 12, 2021. The revised schedule is now available on the official website – cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates can visit this website and scroll down to the ‘Notifications’ menu. Under this menu, find the link that says ‘Revised Schedule of Common Entrance Tests (CETS – 2021). Now, click on the folder icon against the notice. The revised schedule will open on a new page. Download the same and if required, take a printout of it.
Through the revised schedule, all other institutes and universities have been requested to change or plan their examinations or CET keeping in mind the revised MHT CET 2021 schedule. Also, note that the dates of other CET examinations under MHT CET 2021 remain unaltered. Further updates and notices regarding MHT CET 2021 will be posted on cetcell.mahacet.org. Hence, students are advised to keep visiting the website regularly.
Earlier fake schedules for MHT CET 2021 were circulating on social media platforms. In this regard, the State CET Cell, Maharashtra has uploaded a clarification notice asking the candidates to not believe in those fake examination schedules. Every schedule for the MHT CET 2021 examinations will be available on the official website – cetcell.mahacet.org.
For other MHT CET 2021 courses like engineering, technology and agriculture, students will now have the option to reschedule the examination in case the dates clash with other exams. This was announced by Uday Samant, the Higher and Technical Education Minister of Maharashtra. By sending an email to [email protected], the exams can be rescheduled.
