Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM) has declared Manipur class 12th result today, on July 17, 2020. It is available for check online at manresults.nic.in. To check the result, students will need to enter their roll number as mentioned on the admit card. The board conducted the pending papers of Manipur HSE exam 2020 on July 06 and 07 for which a total of 3618 and 547 students appeared for the exam respectively.
Manipur HSE Arts, Science, Commerce 2020 Toppers
Along with the result, the board has also released the list of toppers in Arts, Science and Commerce stream. In the science stream, Archana Hijam topped the exam by obtaining 485 marks. In the arts stream, Khomdram Menaka Devi got 1st place by obtaining 464 marks whereas for the commerce stream, Justina Yendrembam bagged 1st place by obtaining 448 marks.

COHSEM to conduct improvement exam
Manipur Board will conduct the improvement exam for the students who could not pass the exam in one or two subjects. The improvement exams are generally conducted within a month or two from the date of declaration of result. Students can apply for the improvement exam online by filling in necessary details and submit the application form by paying the required fee.

This year, a total of 29,144 number of students appeared in the Manipur board class 12th exam 2020.

Once the result is declared, those who pass the exam will be issued original mark sheet by the board. It can be collected by the students from their respective school as per the schedule.

On July 16, the board announced the date for declaration of the result i.e HSE result 2020 will be declared on July 17, 2020. It is expected that the result shall be declared at 3:00 PM, as in the year 2019, the board declared HSE exam result on May 08 at 3 PM. Hence, it can be expected that the HSE result shall be out between 2-3 PM.

Last year, 28,649 candidates appeared for the class 12th out of which 21,151 number of students passed the exam. The overall pass percentage was 73.83%. As far as the streamwise pass percentage is concerned, in the Science stream, 74.87% students passed, the overall pass percentage in the Commerce stream was 66.62% whereas for Arts stream, it was 71.59%.
This year, the results have been delayed due to the evaluation process being delayed. The board exams were interrupted when the coronavirus outbreak ht the country and the national lockdown was imposed. The Manipur Council of Higher Secondary Education had to postpone the ongoing HSE exams in March due to COVID-19. The pending class 12 exams on papers Sociology, Engineering drawing, Elective languages which were then later on conducted on July 06 and 07.
In order to be declared as qualified in Manipur Board 12h exams, the students need to score an overall 33% marks. They must score 33 per cent marks individually in practical and theory exams. Once the Manipur Board Result for class 12th is announced, those who do not get minimum passing marks in one or two subjects would need to appear for the improvement exams conducted by the Board. Furthermore, those who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for revaluation / rechecking.
