Manipal Entrance Test MET 2021

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is scheduled to begin the MAHE Entrance Test (MET) 2021 from tomorrow, June 11, 2021. The entrance test for admission to B.Tech. or undergraduate engineering courses shall be conducted till June 14, 2021, through the remote proctored format. The exam shall be conducted in three slots, each for three hours duration on all three days of examination. With just a day left for the MET 2021 exam to begin, here are certain exam-day guidelines and last-minute tips that candidates can follow to ace the exam.

MET 2021 examination shall be conducted in three slots – slot 1 test begins at 9:00 am, slot 2 test starts at 12:30 pm and slot 3 test begins at 4:00 pm. All candidates are instructed to login to the exam portal 20 minutes prior to test commencement. Furthermore, they have to appear for the test slot that they have selected during the online slot-booking process. No last-minute changes in the slot timing shall be entertained. Moreover, no candidate shall be permitted to login to the portal after the commencement of exam.

This year, due to the prevailing conditions, the MET 2021 Phase 2 exam shall be conducted through the online, remote proctored format. In case candidates appeared for the Phase 1 centre-based exam, their best of two scores shall be considered for the admission test. However, those aspirants who did not appear for the Phase 1 exam will be given only one attempt to secure admission at MAHE. This attempt is scheduled from July 11 to 14, 2021.

As less than a day is left for the MAHE MET 2021 examination, candidates are advised to not overburden themselves with studies or revision. This will further stress them out and all the knowledge and tricks that they have learnt so far shall be forgotten. Instead, candidates must familiarise themselves with the paper pattern and mode of exam. Since MET 2021 Phase 2 shall be conducted through the online, remote proctored format, candidates must be aware of using the computer. They must ensure that their device is in good shape and functioning properly.

Candidates appearing for the MET 2021 entrance test must have create certain short notes, list of important formulae or a set of important chemical reactions. They are advised to revise these notes rather than studying a new topic altogether. Even revising a difficult subject at this juncture is not advisable. In case candidates wish to get quick revision, they may choose to solve a previous-year question paper or the MET 2021 Phase 1 exam. This shall help them recollect important details faster and give them a boost of confidence to crack the exam tomorrow.
