At this very moment, 16.58 lakh class 10 students of Maharashtra state board are glued to their computer and phone screens, in eager anticipation of their results. Unfortunately for all of them, the websites to check the SSC results are down.
Earlier today, the state Education Minister tweeted the process to check SSC results. Her tweet mentioned only two websites – result.mh-ssc.ac.in, and mahahsscboard.in. The board had announced that result will be available from 1 PM, and since that time, both these websites are down.
It may be noted that the event was foreseen. The issue repeats every year. Due to the volume of students of the board, the website servers are always unable to load on the result day. Nevertheless, the issue gets resolved in some time. This year is no different, and once again students have to wait a little for the technical problem to get sorted out.
There are many official websites where Maharashtra state board usually publishes class 10th results. The list includes mahresult.nic.in, result.mh-ssc.ac.in, mahahsscboard.in, sscresult.mkcl.org, maharashtraeducation.com. However, this year, the link to check result will be available only at result.mh-ssc.ac.in, and mahahsscboard.in. And since 1 PM, the time at which result was supposed to come, both these websites are down.
Both the websites are showing the same error – This site can’t be reached. The error most commonly happens due to heavy load on website.

Students take to twitter to complain about Maharashtra state board SSC result 2021 website crash
Students are admittedly unhappy about the website crash. Checking class 10 results is an important event for most of them, and after days of waiting, when the time finally came, the website crash issue has dampened their enthusiasm.

Alternate ways to check result
Students are eagerly looking for alternative ways to check Maha SSC result now that the websites are down. For example they are asking if there are any alternative websites, or apps, or SMS route to check the scores.
Every year Maharashtra board provides an SMS route to check result. However this year, no such notice has been given. The usual way to check SSC result via SMS is to send a message in the format MHSSC<space>SEAT NO to 57766. However this way may or may not work this time.
Students are also asking if there is any app to check the result, like it was provided by Kerala board recently. However for Maha board, no such app is available.
As far as alternative websites are concerned, most of the alternative websites too are either down, or they are saying that result will be available at result.mh-ssc.ac.in, and mahahsscboard.in. Still, students can take note of these websites:
- mahresult.nic.in
- sscresult.mkcl.org
- maharashtraeducation.com
The board has already announced pass percentages and other key statistics of the board results. This was done in the presser led by board Chairman Dinkar Patil.
MSBSHSE registered a record pass percentage of 99.5%. Further the the number of students who score 90% and above is 83,262. The percentage of girl students passing the Maharashtra SSC exams is 99.96% followed by boys whose passing percentage is 99.94%. As many as 27 subjects have registered a 100% figure.
