Maharashtra State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has announced that the SSC results 2021 will declared tomorrow i.e., on July 16, 2021, at 1 pm. Amidst speculations that the Board may release the result today, the state minister has confirmed the exact result date through an official tweet earlier today.
State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has tweeted in Marathi that the Class 10 result 2021 of the state board will be announced tomorrow. The complete tweet (see image below) roughly translates to Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education has already prepared the online result of Class 10 on the basis of internal evaluation in the year 2021. The result will be announced tomorrow i.e., on July 16, 2021, at 01.00 PM. Best wishes to all students”.
She has also conveyed important statistics pertaining to the result.
A total of 16 lakh 58 thousands students had enrolled for the class 10 exams. Out of them, 9,09,931 are boys, and 7,48,693 are girls.
The 9 divisional boards of education have edited subject wise marks of all students. Result of class 10th for all these divisions – Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amaravati, Nashik, Latur, Konkan will be published at mahahsscboard.in.
It may be noted that Maharashtra is one of the first Indian states to have advocated against the conduct of physical exams amidst the pandemic. The Class 10 exams of the state board were cancelled earlier and the results have now been prepared on the basis of alternative criteria. In other words, instead of conducting the exams, the Board has determined the merit on the basis of internals, unit test numbers etc.

Maharashtra Board Class 10 Result 2021 – Evaluation Criteria
As stated before, the Maharashtra government has cancelled this year’s Class 10 exams. The decision was taken in view of the currently ongoing pandemic. The Board, however, has adopted certain alternative assessment criteria to determine the merit of individual candidates this year.
The marks of internal written exams held during the year carry 30 marks. Practical tasks, homework, internal assignments etc. together make up for 20 marks. However, the maximum marks, out of the total marks for evaluation has been attributed to the Class 9 final results. It makes up for 50% of the total word count.
