MAHA TET Online Application Form 2021 Last Date Tomorrow, Apply Now at mahatet.in

The Unreserved candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 500 if applying for one paper and Rs 800 if applying for both papers of MAHA TET 2021.

The last date of filling the MAHA TET Online Application form is tomorrow i.e., September 05, 2021. MAHA TET Online Application Form 2021 can be filled up online on the official website mahatet.in. Aspiring candidates can apply for anyone, or both of the two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2 according to their eligibility. The last date to print the MAHA TET 2021 Online Application Form is September 10, 2021.

As per latest updates on the official website, although the MAHA TET Paper 1 and Paper 2 exams are scheduled to be conducted on October 10, 2021, the date might be changed owing to the Covid-19 lockdown and other exams (MPSC/UPSC) scheduled on the same date.

MAHA TET 2021 is an eligibility test conducted by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination, Pune. The candidates who successfully qualify through the MAHA TET examination are awarded the TET certificate. The certification is provided at two levels i.e. Primary (Class 1 to 5) and Upper Primary (Class 6 to 8). Earlier, the validity of the TET certificate was 7 years. However the same has now been increased to lifetime by GOI.

How to fill the MAHA TET Online Application Form 2021?

Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps to successfully fill the MAHA TET Online Application form 2021:

Step 1: Visit the official website of MAHA TET, mahatet.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, find the MAHA TET Apply online link and proceed further

Step 3: After this, click on the New Registration option and fill the online registration form with the candidate’s name, mobile number, date of birth and email id. Upon successfully submitting the registration form, a unique registration number and password will generate.

Step 4: Thereafter, the candidates need to log in with the same to fill the application form. Then, they need to specify their personal details, contact details, category, academic qualification, and professional qualification. 

Step 5: Now, upload the scanned photograph and signature on the next page and upon successful verification move to the payment section. 

Step 6: The candidates need to now pay the application fee as per the papers they are attempting via any online payment channel i.e. debit/credit card. Post successful payment candidates need to take a printout of the application form.

MAHA TET 2021 Application Fee

The Application fee for MAHA TET General/OBC candidates is Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 800 for both papers for unreserved category candidates. However, the same for SC/ST category is Rs 250 for one paper and Rs 400 for both papers.

Documents Required for MAHA TET 2021 Application Form

The documents mentioned below have to be kept handy while filling the MAHA TET Application form 2021:

  • Candidate’s Valid ID proof
  • Marksheet and Certificate of B.ED/D.EL.Ed
  • Scanned Passport size photograph (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) in the prescribed limit of 5kb to 100kb.
  • Scanned Signature in the prescribed limit of 2kb to 50kb
  • Category certificate 
  • Marksheet and Certificate of B.ED/D.EL.Ed

About MAHA TET 2021

The MAHA TET 2021 exam will be held offline for a duration of 90 minutes and will have 150 questions. The language of the questions paper will be English or Marathi. 

The questions in the MAHA TET Paper 1 are based on five subjects viz. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Mathematics, Language II, and Environmental Studies. The MAHA TET Paper 2 comprise questions from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Science or Science. The candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking for the wrong answer.
