State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has announced extending the registration dates for MAH MCA CET 2022. The application form filling date has now been extended till May 11, 2022. State Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant took has taken to Twitter to announce the extension in the registration dates for MAH MCA CET 2022. Along with this, the minister has also extended the registration dates and exam dates for other exams conducted by the board. The application form filling earlier commenced on March 17, 2022, on the website, mahacet.org.

As of now, there is no official reason has been put forth by the official board regarding the extension. However, as per a notice released by the board, the tentative reason for this is to avoid a clash between the JEE Main exam and MAH CET. Along with this, the Maharashtra universities exams are scheduled to be held from June 01 to July 15, 2022. The board has notified that this decision is going to help the candidates in preparing for both the entrance exams simultaneously.
Now, as the application form filling dates have been extended, therefore, the candidates who have not yet applied for the same can do the registration. The basic eligibility for applying to MAH MCA CET is going having a bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as the main subject with the minimum marks. Candidates who are in the final year of their bachelor’s degree shall be eligible to fill out the application form.
MAH MCA CET 2022 exam is going to be held in the online mode with 100 questions from Logical / Abstract Reasoning, English comprehension and Verbal Ability, Mathematics & Statistics and Computer Concepts. The examination is going to be having multiple choice based questions asked only in the English language. MAH MCA CET exam is going to be held for a duration of 90 minutes.
