LIC AAO Result 2019 announced at licindia.in; 11781 Qualify for Mains

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) had declared the result for LIC AAO 2019 Preliminary examination. The result is available for check online at licindia.in in the pdf format. The preliminary exam for LIC AAO 2019 recruitment was conducted on May 04 – 05, 2019. The result pdf consists of details of the candidate who have been shortlisted for the Main Exam.

To check the LIC AAO Prelims Result 2019, the candidates need to visit the official website of LIC. On the homepage of the website, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Careers” link. In the next screen, the candidates need to click on the relevant link for checking the LIC AAO Prelims Result 2019. The result will open in the pdf format.

The result pdf consists of roll number, candidate’s name, category, date of birth, gender of the qualifiers for Main Examination.

The overall number of candidates to qualify prelims is equal to 20 times the number of vacancies. There are 590 vacancies, hence around 11,800 candidates are eligible to appear in the main exam on the basis of their performance in the prelims result.

LIC AAO Main 2019 exam is scheduled to be held on June 28, 2019. For the Main examination, there will be multiple choice objective and descriptive type questions of the total duration of 02 hours. The test will be of total 300 marks. and descriptive test for 25 marks. For the objective type questions, candidates will have to select the correct option from the given choices, whereas, in the descriptive type, the candidates have to type the answer on the computer. Note that the descriptive test will be administered immediately after the completion of the objective test.

Furthermore, on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Main Examination, the candidates will be shortlisted for the Interview round. Finally, marks obtained in Main Examination and in Interview will be considered for final merit listing of candidate.

The maximum marks in Interview are 60 and qualifying marks for EWS, Unreserved, OBC and PwBD candidates are 30, for SC/ST category, the minimum qualifying marks are 27. The finally shortlisted candidates will have to undergo Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination and if found medically fit, will be offered appointment.

There are a total of 590 number of vacancies for the posts of Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist/ IT/ Chartered Accountant/ Actuarial/ Rajbhasha). The Basic pay for Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) is Rs 32,795 per month in the scale of Rs 32795- 1610(14) –55335– 1745(4) –62315, in addition to other admissible allowances as per rules.
