The JEE Main 2019 Answer Key Challenge facility is open until today, April 16, 2019, till 11:50 PM at jeemain.nic.in. National Testing Agency (NTA) had released the JEE Main 2019 Answer Key, Response Sheet and Question Paper On April 14, 2019. On the very same day, it had also opened the facility to challenge the answer key.
For each challenge, NTA charges Rs. 1000/-. However, NTA also refunds the charged amount to the candidate’s bank account if the challenge is accepted. The amount is refunded to same account form which the candidates have made the payment.
To challenge the answer key the candidates have to visit jeemain.nic.in and log in using their application number and password/date of birth. On the dashboard, they need to click on the “challenge answer key link”. Thereafter the candidates can check the correct answers to each question, and corresponding to it there are other options that the candidates can claim if they disagree with the correct answer of the question by NTA.
Thereafter the candidates have to save their claims. All claims must be submitted in one go. No Claim will be submitted after that. In case the candidates want to submit documents in support of the challenge of answer key, they have to upload the PDF file for the same. Lastly, the candidates have to confirm their claims and move on to make the online payment of the challenge fee. the claims are accepted only after the payment of the challenge is complete.
After considering the challenges NTA is also going to release the final answer key. the final answer key is unavailable for any further challenges. NTA is going to upload the final answer key in the PDF format. NTA calculates the raw marks of the candidates in the exam based on the final answer key.
9,58,619 candidates have registered for the JEE Main 2019 April Attempt. The exam was held on April 07, 2019 for paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) and paper 1 was held on April 08, 09, 10, and 12, 2019 (B.Tech/B.E.). In all the 5 days the exam was held in 2 shifts.
After the challenges of the answer key are considered and processed, NTA is likely to declare the result for the April attempt. The result for paper 1 exam will be out by April 30, 2019, and for paper 2 it will be declared by May 15, 2019.
In addition to the result that will have the percentile/NTA scores of the candidates in each section and the total percentile score, it will also have the AIR of the candidates and the cutoff score for JEE Advanced 2019.
The All India Rank (AIR) of JEE main 2019 will be based on the best percentile score of the candidates out of both the attempts. However, the candidates who have taken only one attempt, either the April attempt or the January attempt, will have their place in the AIR, based on the one attempt they have taken.
