GUJCET 2019 Admit Card Released; Download Hall Ticket at gseb.org

On April 16, 2019, Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has issued GUJCET 2019 Admit card on its official website, gseb.org or gsebht.in. All those candidates, who had submitted their online applications before February 08, 2019 and had submitted the GUJCET 2019 application fee in online/ offline mode are only issued GUJCET 2019 hall tickets. Such candidates can view/ download their admit cards with the help of GUJCET 2019 application number or their names.

The admit card is issued for the undergraduate engineering and pharmacy (degree/diploma) courses in the State of Gujarat. GUJCET 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on April 26, 2019, in pen and paper based mode, after being postponed from April 23, 2019. It will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours, where the sectional time limit is applicable. For the Physics/ Chemistry section, a candidate is given 120 minutes from 10 am to 12 pm, while for Biology/ Mathematics section, a candidate is given 60 minutes, that is from 1 pm -2 pm (for Biology) and from 3 pm – 4 pm (for Maths). 

To download the GUJCET 2019 Admit Card, the candidates need to visit the official website. Next, they have to log in by entering their registered mobile number or registered email id and date of birth or GUJCET application number. Click on the “Search hall ticket” button to download the GUJCET Admit Card.  After downloading GUJCET Admit card, a candidate needs to check all the details, printed on it. These details are a candidate’s name, date of birth, exam roll number, subject, contact number, exam date, exam time, detailed exam center address, along with a photograph. If any corrections are required related to these details, a candidate needs to contact the authorities and get it rectified, at the earliest possible. GUJCET Admit card needs to be stored safely till the whole admission process gets over.

On the day of GUJCET 2019, a candidate necessarily needs to carry a copy of this admit card, issued in online mode only. Without it, no candidate is allowed to enter the examination center. After a candidate has appeared for GUJCET 2019, he/ she can verify their answers with the help of the released answer key. GSEB releases the GUJCET answer key in pdf format on its official website, gseb.org. It is expected that GSEB will release the answer key by the fourth week of April.

For every correct answer, a candidate is awarded +1 mark, whereas, for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. A candidate can only get to estimate their marks or chances of qualifying for the exam with the help of the official answer key. Though, to know their exact GUJCET 2019 merit scores, a candidate needs to wait for the result declaration date, which is tentatively said to be released by the second week of May.
