The last date to make corrections in GATE 2019 Application Form has been extended to October 28, 2018. Earlier the last date was announced as October 25, 2018. However, IIT Madras is now giving 3 extra days to make any correction in their GATE 2019 Application Form.
Now, that the last dates has been extended, the candidates can still login at GOAPS using their enrollment ID and password. Once they login they will be able to access the “change applicant details” button. Using this option, changes can be made.
Candidates who have not attended the application defect(s) are requested to rectify the same immediately to avoid rejection of the application.
The changes that will be made will be treated as the final ones by the GATE 2019 authorities. On the basis of which all the further process like admit card generation, counselling and admission will be done. Thus, the details that are to be changed must be accurate and valid.
Candidates can no longer change the choice of the subject paper. The GOAPS portal is closed for subject change requests.
The admit card of GATE 2019 will be available to those candidates who will rectify the defects in their application form before October 28, 2018. Without the admit card no candidates will be allowed to take the examination. Thus, it is important to ensure that the form correction is taken seriously. The admit card will be issued starting from January 04, 2018.
