Candidates still have the last chance to apply for the recruitment of posts of Group C and Group D under the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) specified in the notification posted on October 7, 2019. The same was uploaded on the website – phedmanipur.gov.in.
According to the notification, the total number of vacancies to be filled through direct recruitment is 154 for both Group C & D. To compete against these vacancies, application form is needed to be submitted in offline mode.
The process of applying is like this. Interested candidate needs to visit the official website phedmanipur.gov.in ->> on the main page under the what’s new section find the link for “notification for the recruitment of Group C & D post in PHE department” ->> Open the notice and scroll down ->> Find the format of the application form and admit card along with it ->> Download it and fill it.
The filled form has to be submitted at the counters opened at PHED office complex, Khuyathong during office hours on the working days. For the same purpose, a requisite amount has to be paid of Rs. 500 for general and OBC candidates and Rs. 400 for the SC/ST candidates.
The last date for the submission of the form is November 9, 2019 that is today. After that written test will be conducted on November 24, 2019.
PHED Manipur recruitment 2019 is for 42 vacancies of LDC, 15 of driver, 30 of jr supervisor, 3 vacancies of fitter grade 2, 31 vacancies of assistant engine operator, 5 for barkandaz, 13 for sweeper, and 15 vacancies of peon. However, applicants can apply only for only 1 post.
Class 10th pass candidates are eligible for driver, jr supervisor, assistant engine operator, peon, sweeper, barkandaz posts. Such candidates who have 10th pass qualification as well as ITI in concerned trade can apply for fitter grade 2 posts. LDC post requires one to be graduate and course completed in computer.
For the purpose of selection, PHED Manipur will conduct written test, skill test or practical test, and interaction. For LDC, post the written exam will be of 60 marks, to be attempted in 1 hour. There will be a section on general english for 30 marks, and one for general knowledge of 30 marks. LDC post candidates will also have to appear in computer skill test of 10 marks in 30 minutes.
For all other posts, there will be a written exam of general knowledge of 30 marks to be done in 30 minutes. Then for them there will be a job suitability practical test of 5 marks. For all posts, interaction will be of 5 marks for those who qualify the test.
All candidates should be sponsored by concerned employment exchange.
