The correction window for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) entrance exam 2022 is now open on the official website of IISC at kvpy.iisc.ac.in. Applicants who have applied for the IISC KVPY 2022 examination can now change the exam centre details from their application in case of discrepancies till December 06, 2021. The test city preference can be easily modified through a simple login process. Applicants can choose their city of preference from the drop down list available in the application form.
Before setting the preferences it is important to study various emergency factors and travelling charges that would cost to reach the examination centre. Applicants are most likely to get the first city of preference. Chances of getting second or third city of preference is quite low but not negligible. Hence all applicants are advised to set all three preferences wisely. To apply for corrections, candidates need to sign in using their user id and password. Steps to edit exam city preference
Step 1. Visit the official website of KVPY IISC at kvpy.iisc.ac.in.
Step 2. Click on the ‘Edit facility for test City preference’ present in the news section of the page.
Step 3. Applicants must now sign in using their user id and password.
Step 4. The IISC KVPY 2021 previously submitted application form will display on the screen
Step 5. Click on the edit option, applicants will be allowed to make changes in the test city preference only. Proceed and change the city on the preference list.
Step 6. No extra fee will be charged for the committed changes. Submit the application, after saving the changes. Download and save the form for future references.
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has released the KVPY Exam Centers list for conducting the aptitude test. According to the recent report, a total of 34 new cities have been introduced for KVPY Exam Centers 2021. The authority has removed only one exam city – ‘Uttara Kannada’ leaving a new total of 144 exam centers.
Last year, the KVPY test was held across 111 exam cities. Eligible candidates can fill their preferences of exam centres while filling the KVPY Application form. They can choose 4 cities of exam centres as per their preferences.
The 34 new cities introduced for KVPY 2021 exams are : Muzaffarpur, Cuttack, Bokaro, Dibrugarh, Amritsar, Kalyani, Bikaner, Moradabad, Gorakhpur, Roorkee, Warangal, Haliyal, Tiruchirapalli, Madgoan, Tirunelveli, Jabalpur, Muzaffarnagar, Jalgaon, Bhagalpur, Bhilai Nagar, Sambalpur, Berhampur, Silchar, Sonipat, Bhatinda, Aligarh, Jhansi, Haldwani, Kurnool, Karimnagar, Vellore, Gwalior, Ujjain, Leh.
The admit cards for IISC KVPY 2021 exam are most likely to be released in the third week of December. Applicants will find their allotted examination center on their respective hall tickets. KVPY entrance exam is 3-hour online exam, divided into four sections carrying a total of 260 marks. While 75 per cent marks are allotted to the aptitude test, 25 percent is given to the interview round. Candidates qualifying the aptitude test will be further called for an Interview round. Interview round is the final stage in KVPY selection process. During the final shortlisting of candidates, marks of both aptitude tests and interview round will be considered.
